About Rahmah Pauzi

Rahmah Pauzi is a senior at University of Massachusetts Amherst majoring in Journalism and doing double minors in Film Studies and Anthropology. She transferred from Taylor’s College at Malaysia to the United States in fall 2010 under Malaysian government scholarship, and since then has been exploring the ever changing field of journalism here. Her skills in journalism is best built at multimedia reporting which includes broadcastingvideo journalism, and photojournalism. She has been working on several documentary projects and got published on Masslive.com and Jones Library's website, where many of her works revolve on the stories of immigrants and their experiences in America. Her main subject of interest is people, and particularly how they articulate their culture and develop their identity in the ever-changing America.
Currently residing in Western Massachusetts, she is open for paid and unpaid photo-documentary project and assignment involving the community and people around UMass Amherst, and the Five College area. In her spare time, Rahmah reads classic (and sometimes modern) poems and proses written in Malay; her mother language.
